Mirth, Myths, Misbehaviour!

Get merry on Copenhagen’s most unapologetically festive walking tour. Denmark may be dark and freezing, but this tour will warm you up with Christmas beer, questionable jokes, and enough holiday spirit to power an entire Tivoli light show!

Taste the season as you wander through Copenhagen’s Christmas markets. Enjoy a festive beer, a bite of a classic Danish brunkage (Christmas cookie), and maybe a sip of snaps or Viking mead if you’ve been nice. If you’ve been naughty, even better.

Walk the same wintery streets as Hans Christian Andersen and Dickens and learn about their awkward Christmas encounter. Discover why Danes hang hearts everywhere, and find out how a nation famous for hygge celebrates a season famous for stress.

From royal Christmas traditions at D’Angleterre to cozy market stalls, Viking yuletide chaos, executions (because of course), drag-queen-adjacent décor, and the scandalous history of the Julebryg beer release– it’s all in there.

Hear tales of gløgg, lore and folklore, princes and pastries, julefrokosts and questionable decisions, drinking rules on the metro, and the Danish Christmas customs that absolutely no one asked for but everyone insists on doing.
